Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth, without the conventional metal wires and brackets. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually reposition your teeth. The aligners are smooth, comfortable, and they don’t irritate your cheek or tongue. They are also removable, so as to make it easier to clean your teeth after eating.

We first take impressions of your teeth, bite registrations, photographs, and x-rays. We send this data along with a treatment plan to the laboratory. The lab then creates a series of custom made aligners. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, and you’ll remove them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Your teeth will move a little at a time until they are straightened to the desired position. About every 4-6 weeks, you’ll visit us so that we can ensure that your treatment is progressing appropriately. It typically takes 12 to 18 months to complete orthodontic treatment with Invisalign.

Dr. Cook is Invisalign certified. After a thorough exam and review of your health history, we will be able to determine if you are an Invisalign candidate.

Zoom Whitening (chairside tooth whitening))

At Family First Dental, our doctors will take the time to make sure you are a candidate Zoom. Zoom is an in office whitening system using technology to whiten you teeth in one visit. Zoom whitening gel is a scientifically formulated, pH-balanced hydrogen peroxide that, when activated by the Zoom light gently penetrates the teeth to remove deep stains and discoloration. The tooth whitening technique last approximately two hours in the dentist chair and requires no additional home treatment.

Dr. Cook can apply these contact lens-thin “smile shapers” to teeth without any grinding or shaving, transforming teeth into a naturally beautiful smile that looks perfect for every individual. Lumineers can even be placed over existing crown or bridgework without having to replace them.
